2021 Ontario Lacrosse Annual General Meeting

Attendance Eligibility:

Delegates will be eligible to attend the 2021 AGM according to the following guidelines:

1. Pre-registered club delegates will be permitted, in accordance with OLA Bylaw 5.02 (each club's sector is eligible for two votes if all other requirements are met, however, the Ontario Lacrosse Association reserves the right to limit the number of club delegates if capacity limits are changed prior to the AGM);
2. One delegate per league will be permitted, in accordance with their BOG status;
3. Each BOD member will be permitted, in accordance with their executive status;
4. Each OLA Life Member will be permitted, in accordance with their recognized status;
5. Any person nominated to the Board of Directors will be permitted, in accordance with the right to participate in the election process. Pre-registration is a requirement for attendance at this event.

Covid-19 Health & Safety Protocols:

1. All attendees, regardless of their position, will be required to demonstrate their proof of fully vaccinated status in accordance with provincial regulations, as of September 22, 2021, and will be required to wear a mask during the event.
2. Physical distancing and other public health measures may be in effect at the discretion of the provincial health authority and/or the facility.
3. Pre-registration is a requirement for attendance at this event.

Voting Eligibility:

Delegates in attendance will be eligible to vote at the 2021 AGM provided they meet all of the criteria under OLA Operating Regulation 8.06(a):

1. The club participated in a 2021 RTA program or league-recognized activities; and
2. The club has paid all outstanding fees to the OLA prior to October 31st, 2021; and
3. The club has paid for one team fee per eligible voting sector toward the 2022 OLA playing season.

Administration:

To guarantee that information is accurately recorded and communicated, any proposed Rules & Regulations forms and Board of Directors nominations must follow the established protocol:

1. The deadline for submissions to be received is Thursday, September 30th at 11:59pm.
2. All proposed amendments and Board of Directors nominations must be submitted digitially in MS Word format by the club president or designated representative.
3. The wording and formatting of all proposed amendments will be circulated as received; please proofread your proposal carefully prior to submitting it.
4. Only those amendments which are submitted in the required format by the deadline will be prepared for circulation. Should you require assistance in accessing the forms or for any other questions related to the AGM, contact Jeramie (jeramie@ontariolacrosse.com).
